We can tweak, as required, possibly invert (Colors – Invert) and when happy we adjust the size. To do this, we go to Colors – Color to Alpha and hit OK. Next we will want the background to be transparent. Do not worry if your selection is not perfectly square we can fix this later. Once selected, you pick Image – Crop To Selection. This is found as the first icon in the toolbox window of GIMP. Next I will isolate the part of the picture I want for my icons with the rectangular select. Below, I simply put Contrast up to the maximum value. Contrast goes to max and Brightness, as required. This is done with the Colors – Brightness-Contrast settings. Next I am going to make it black and white. If GIMP complains that you can only adjust RGB images, this is set as part of the Image – Mode settings. I can do this one of two ways either by selecting Image – Mode – Grayscale or Colors – Hue-Saturation and put the Saturation down to 0. Loading it into GIMP, the first thing I want to do is eliminate the color. I caught this image before it did me too much damage. This was a photo I took at the EMP Museum in Seattle where you stand in silhouette and the screen adds horns and tentacles to you. There are plenty you can get inspiration from on the internet but, to avoid any copyright entanglements, I will use one of my own. Let us take a picture and convert it into a couple of CRM icons. Once loaded, you can manipulate images like a pro, once you get used to it. GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation Program) is an open source image editor comparable to Photoshop and much cheaper (it is free).

I thought it was time for an update and some tips on creating those metro-like icons. I'm stretching.A while ago I talked about creating icons for Dynamics CRM for CRM. I mean, escalations are not part of the requirements, and I have the escalations-related reward, but Hell-I'm at a logic-rope's end. I'm going to try the ONLY thing left to do that nakes any sense to me: Reset and complete The Agana Abyss four more times. ²I have NO idea what the actual cause of this problem is, as other players have done exactly what I have, and they GOT the damned thing!

Evidently, the game agrees with my initial interpretation² of the problem, that I have failed to complete five 'The Icon' escalations, that I have four more to finish before I can get that gawdamned ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ exploding doll. ¹Mission Mastery, the whatever I'm having problem with, is the single black-and-white, unchecked item. And, of course, the only gawdamned escalation contract available for this mission.Three of three Discovery opportunities.Eight of eight Assassination opportunities.Can someone give me a clue, please? I have performed ( by 'performed,' I mean ir registers in the game's menu as chewcked off and in color) the following: Well, I got 'Escalating the Situation,' and its reward, the covert camo SMG, but there's STILL a problem with getting that stupid Iconator explosive.
